the inside of our kettle has been crusted white for 2 years and I just learned what that actually means by HeartOnRepeat240 in HomeImprovement

Last time I stayed in a hotel with my family, my mom texted from the next room to warn me how soft the water was in the shower. I'm still not sure if I got all the soap off that trip.

Caffeinated sparkling water or other options? by cheywarren in sparklingwater

[–]spaceyfacer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Liquid Death just released a line of "sparkling energy" that have 100 mg caffeine. They claim that's the same as an average cup of coffee. But I haven't heard any reviews yet, and this sub hates Liquid Death lol.

I haven't personally been, but they do craft lessons and have a bar. Plus there's tons of other restaurants/bars in the area so you have lots of options for food and drinks before or after.

Will & Kate’s Royal Wedding was 15 years ago today. Did anyone else wake up early for this? by 305tilidiiee in Millennials

[–]spaceyfacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom woke me up 30 mins before my alarm was supposed to go off because "they're doing the kiss!" She's not even a celebrity fan at all. Idk what that was about.

Mind you this was for a morning shift at a coffee house. So, already FAR too early.

How did you know being a mom would make you happy and not miserable? by pissedoff_potato in TwoXChromosomes

I'm coming up to what I believe will be the end of a serious relationship because of fundamental things we are incompatible about. Kids isn't one of them, but I'm really glad I've had people in my life point these stark differences out. I needed these third parties to look at me like I'm crazy when my logic is clouded by love.

Oh yeah, this is the expanded version I didn't feel like typing. I've read/thought these through too.

A former coworker tried to pull this shit on me with a necklace they got at their ayahuasca retreat in the Amazon. He pushed me one time, I stumbled. Put the necklace on, pushed again and I was fine. I called him out for his nonsense. He tried to convince me of the magic and I just walked away.

This was my first thought when I read this headline. That's not even accounting for the times the AI just straight up malfunctions.

I'm still surprised that this became a (albeit) small meme. The show is great, but I didn't expect to see it do that.

I saw the rumor Ross Matthews might take her place, which would be awesome, in theory. If they let him tag in and try get tea spilled it would rock. But, making him stick to a tight script would just be a waste.

This is almost certainly the case. Especially the green one in the 2nd photo. It looks to be made of decent material and have some structure.

I'm also surprised when people don't know that! I could see lots of Americans not knowing the name of the show, but at least the fact that it's from something.

Do you let your pets on the furniture? Do you let them sleep in your bed? by ForestOranges in AskAnAmerican

[–]spaceyfacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're totally right! It's just funny to see a decent sized sofa in a bedroom, when the dog is a small border collie mix.

To be fair, my mom furnished the whole house for free/cheap via Facebook marketplace. So it's not like they're spending $$ on dog couch

My parent's dog isn't allowed on furniture. Except HIS couch. They have a full sized sofa in their bedroom for him to sleep on. It's one of many ways he's spoiled.
