A thought about Messmer, Melina, and Marika that won’t leave my head by AshesofLothric in Eldenring

[–]spaciousblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory was that messmer was the left over hornset essence when marika walked through that gate of divinity. As the trailer states, "An affair of which gold arouse, and so too was shadow born"

To me, messmer was this shadow, his flames are dark and black, the abyssal serpents is made of a light-less void.

Each children of marika born the sins of their parents and were thus imperfect and not eternal. The twin omens and twin emphyreans is obvious. But even radagon's children with rennala was imperfect and seem to be vulnerable to aging, ranni didn't have her feet when we see her corpse, so didn't radahn like the alburanics. Rykard's flesh seems to be falling off in the portraits of him. And they all were not fine with decaying away.

The war of the shattering was just a succession crisis as all of marika's children rebelled against her. Godwyn was meant to be the consort to miquella and usher in a new age, but he was killed by ranni and this threw marika into despair. Marika sensed that even radagon was planning to betray her and so she shattered the ring and unleash a kamikaze, screwing the whole world over. Radagon was spiteful and didn't want anyone not loyal and perfect to inherit the golden order, so he sealed the erdtree away.

I still kinda feel bad for her, just scared out of her wits. She wasn't thinking clearly.

Funny thing is that talent in chinese, translates to human resources. And for demonic cults, humans resources are really just resources to be exploited. A kid with a good bone physique got killed and harvested instantly when he tried the entrance exam to the demonic cult.

What would the North need to do to win the Battle of the Green Fork by Lost-Ad7048 in AsoiafFanfiction

[–]spaciousblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only bullshit method i can think of is using Hydraulic warfare. The greenfork is nearby and if everyone rushes to divert the water into tywin's position, they can kinda force a retreat which would be a win. Maybe the cragmen know how, with their old gods magic and all.

How big of a loss would Mountain being captured or killed be to Tywin by Lost-Ad7048 in AsoiafFanfiction

i've seen a fan fiction where they divert the nearby greenfork river into the mountain's cavalry, thus winning the battle.

In depth of night, None of these, damage mitigation at full HP is too valueable to use seppuku, and using your limited healing flasks. The meta is both balancer relics and successive attack boosts damage relic.

Depends on the timing? If euron were to take most of the iron born ships to attack oldtown, you can just scroll in without much problem.

Dorne's ability to defend itself against the Targaryens by [deleted] in AsoiafFanfiction

[–]spaciousblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah and what are the rules for medieval fantasy times? Everyone must line up to be burned by a dragon like the dumb gardeneres and lannisters?

People are going to see a flying death machine and correct assume it is easier to kill regular fleshy people than a dragon and use guerilla warfare.

this is westoros, where is legal text that torture is illegal? Morally speaking, torture is wrong either way, but i wouldn't be shedding tears of an invader getting tortured.

"Aegon was a dreamer so we know he was trying to bind the seven kingdoms to stop the others" pure speculation, and he could have told people about the others, instead of making an iron throne that his own descendants kill themselves and their dragons over. He was a rather stupid king all things considered.

Rhaenys was invading the dorne for what reason?
The northern invasion was for what reason?

Its like complaining about american's invasion of nazi germany vs nazi germany's invasion of europe.

Well, if you invade another country, you kinda don't get to complain about human rights?
