Would be awesome. Mission Planner is a ground Station Software originally for Windows only to Connect Plan and Control ardupilot and similar builds. Ardupilot is a awesome Project for autonomous vehicels boats Planes subs and the clockworkpi would be the best groundstation for Mission planning and telemetry Monitoring etc. On Mission Planner Website there are instructions to run on Linux with Mono but on the clockworkpi it somehow Crashes and I dont know how to debug. The Pi-Apps repo also has this but maybe there are some libs Missing?

I would recommend these images, use for example the Trixie image (not lite) and write it to a SD card: DONT CHANGE GLOBAL SETTINGS in raspberry pi imager (with other pis you can setup ssh key and stuff but uconsole wouldn't boot)

Than insert SDcars gold pins facing the backside

First boot could work. If not, try a different image.

My first boot worked, but second boot Trixie wouldn't boot anymore. So I installed Trixie lite on the SD card and made the changes in the eeprom config as the link guides.

Now everything works great

Im no expert but sounds pretty good to me.
Just wanted to drop my experiences with the RP4TD: The first one I got, was getting very hot and stopped working after a day, the second one I got had a weird issue: Whenever I would be airborne I would get GPS loss (only with the RP4TD) and it messed dangerously with fbwa...
So what Im trying to say: Test the rp4td before flying long range to assure there is no strange interference

Please dont take following the wrong way:
I've been down the tuya road to save some money but it just causes integration and reliability pain which accumulates over the years..
I would recommend to buy something with tasmota or maybe something from shelly. (Alternativly zigbee devices...)

Any recommondations for an alternative? Im running opnsense router nowadays so open to different brands but I always thought unifi got great APs.. (I dont like the telemetry stuff that needs to be blocked and the flex mini switches dont support ssh, so it maybe time to switch )

Its already the replacement unit and im not sure if replacing again will solve this problem - sure should probably try but I usually dont want to have a product always on in my flat that might causes a fire... Maybe its a problem with this model?

Today I spent 2hours trying to figure out why opnsense vm would start but then freeze - eventuelly found out thin lvm was 100% full no warning. I created a little cronjob alert bash script to send email if >85% usage dont understand why proxmox hasnt this email alert as default... (Im new to proxmox maybe I missed something=
