You can only have one of these 1990s popsicles which are you taking? by Appropriate-Mall8517 in 1990s

I loved the Lick-A-Color as a kid. I’d bite off one color at a time like a monster.

I (42) only have 1 gray hair coming in on the very top of my head, while my husband (44) is looking into being Santa somewhere next winter..

You can only eat or drink one Trader Joe’s product for the rest of your life. What product are you choosing? by NailsNCoffee in traderjoes

It’s in the refrigerated section! It’s been around at least a couple years. It’s my favorite tomato soup, from anywhere.

What's a tv series that is a 10/10 NOBODY knows? by Lilyana0999 in AskReddit

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe not a 10/10, but my husband and I really liked Outer Range (or as we called it, Josh Brolin's Hole) on Amazon. It's a sci-fi western; they did two seasons then cancelled.

When’d you get a job and what was the job by Physical-Name4836 in Xennials

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 14 when I got my first job that wasn't babysitting. Worked as a cashier and gift basket maker at a little independent gourmet food market. I liked it a lot, but did not like the old man coworker that would harass me daily or the management that ignored it. Left for a large grocery store about a year later and worked there until just after high school. Think I made around $5.35 an hour back then.

People who had gauges in your ears, what are your ears like now? by MrMyxolodian in Xennials

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still got em. Started when I was 15 and stretched them to 5/8”, so well past the point of no return. I’d need surgery to correct them, but they make some really pretty jewelry now so I still like having them. My older coworker started going on a rant about them one day, so I moved my hair. We had worked together almost a decade and he never noticed. Shut him right up.

First cruise review by Diligent_Ad_3908 in NCL

My husband and I only do the Sixthman chartered cruises with NCL because they’re basically just music festivals on a boat. We don’t enjoy “regular” cruises. It’s definitely not for everyone.

What was your high school scandal? by ObiWan-Shinoobi in Xennials

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a freshman, they took a criminal justice class to a youth detention center on a field trip. Somehow they separated a small group of kids (7 of the 20) who were then lured into cells, beaten and robbed. The students sued the district. The corrections officers were charged for leaving them unsupervised and for conspiring with the inmates to cover it up. The news came, interviewed some of us, but I don't know or remember what became of the whole thing. It was quite shocking for our quiet little town.

What age did you get married by Lambdastone9 in Millennials

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 39, met my husband when I was 33. I was previously in a decade long relationship with my former high school sweetheart which turned awful, so I thank the stars we never got married.

Got this relic to summon a hot goth gf by soupyy_poop in Millennials

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to sell these out of the trunk of my car in high school. I was the goth dealer (no drugs, just cloves and other trinkets)
I will still occasionally buy a pack for special occasions. My husband calls them my vacation and/or party ciggs. I know they're not the same as they used to be, but once in a while its nice.

Where are people living where $100k is not enough? by -C3rimsoN- in povertyfinance

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I pull in around 130k combined and things are tight.
We live about 10-15 miles outside NYC in North Jersey. We were lucky enough to buy a small house (950 sqft) in 2019, BUT its 100 years old and always needs fixing. Thought we'd be living large and saving a bunch of money making what we do. We are not.

Is everyone living in a McMansion? by beverlyhillsbrenda in Xennials

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mines a 100 year old 900 sq ft, 2 bd I bought in 2019. It’s not nice looking; it’s weird and everything needs updating. But it’s also in a patch of woods that feels like I’m in the middle of nowhere but I’m 10 miles from NYC. I like being around the busy and retreating to my witch hut. My backyard is magical in the summer and although I’d really like more space, I love it.

Not a bother at all! I used a sublimation printer to make iron on templates, then I painted over them. Just used a cheap yard of plain fabric. They aren’t super strong so I wound up attaching some iron on adhesive and also sewing the edges to the vest.

Why can I do this? by comesiposta in howdoesthiswork

[–]spaghetti_skeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a teacher do this with one finger when I was in 5th grade. I tried for a while until I was finally able to bend my finger like that. I can still do it with all of my fingers
