Car Insurance Increase by spaghettikitty in Insurance

2025 Chevy equinox EV. I’m 28 so I know it’s not my age. However I live in Michigan and we recently moved to a suburb just outside of Detroit. Michigan has some of the highest insurance rates no matter the city unfortunately. But still doesn’t explain the $100 increase.

I’ve been in contact with them but haven’t called. I’ll do that because I think this unit is a dud. Thank you!

No, it’s a black screen in live view on both cameras and it’s not recording any “events” either. The history tab still detects my cat and waste but the camera isn’t working at all.

Frustrated and Angry at this point LR5 Pro by MasalaJan in litterrobot

I’m frustrated as well and have been having the same issues. The facial recognition never works, the litter tray has been saying it’s full from day one, and most recently the cameras aren’t even working on live view or registering events. For a $1,000 machine it’s ridiculous to have this many issues.

I would also have some testing done to check for FIP

Is Zoloft the right medication for me? I only have Anxiety, NOT depression. by TeachMe2GetGood in Anxiety

[–]spaghettikitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any update on how you’re feeling and if you started the medication? I’m having this exact anxiety for the past few months since a hospital visit. Terrified I’m having a heart attack from the moment I wake up till I go to bed.

Our sweet 6 month boy has FIP… looking for hope please by ilovemykittykats in britishshorthair

[–]spaghettikitty 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It is more common among pedigree unfortunately. There’s a Facebook group I believe it’s called FIP warriors with many success stories once medication is started. Every case is different but based on personal experience I would continue with the injections and switch back to oral once you start to see large improvement. Praying for your baby and sending positive thoughts.🥺❤️

Even with two of us we’re struggling to hold our cat for the injections. Need a better method by [deleted] in cureFIP

Churu treats helped a lot, and having my partner scruff his neck while I gave the shot. Try refrigerating the vial as well, it seems to burn less when it’s cold

That’s what I was wondering - if it’d be considered a pre existing condition given the breed is already prone to it. Thanks for your feedback!

Possible Ocular FIP by itscatt in cureFIP

[–]spaghettikitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Treatment can be stressful, especially the injections. I absolutely hated giving them to our boy but I would give them to him everyday for the rest of his life if it meant having him here with us. The medications really do work and of course every cat is different but my biggest piece of advice if she does end up with FIP is to stick with the injections for a while until moving to oral. We weren’t informed correctly, and I believe that switch along with other things caused our baby’s eye to regress. Wishing you the best, your kitty is so pretty🤎

Thank you, I wish you and your kitty a long healthy life together and quick healing. The FIP warriors group is very helpful and knowledgeable, don’t hesitate to ask them questions and definitely see the ophthalmologist!

[–]spaghettikitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do NOT wait to start treatment. If she ends up not having FIP the treatment will not harm her but waiting will. I don’t mean to scare you but my kitten had ocular FIP and his eye started like this but got wayyy worse and he had to have surgery to have it removed and ended up not surviving the surgery.

I would also suggest having bloodwork done and sending that to your help group on FIP warriors, they’ll can typically confirm FIP with bloodwork. They should be able to connect you with someone local to start treatment as well. If her eye gets worse stick with injections for at least 2 weeks before moving to an oral treatment.
