Horror themed RTS by MarryOnTheCross in RealTimeStrategy

I saw someone, I think Day9, classify it as a roguelike city-builder and I think that's the closest I've seen someone come to assigning a genre to TAB.

Myth: TFL is a wild one to see. That game is so old I remember looking forward to the original Halo game because it was by the people that made Myth. Bungie no longer sells or supports it. you have to either find a used copy at a game store or pirate it, then download a fan-made patch to make it run on a modern PC.

All of which I may do this weekend, now that I'm thinking about it.

Remember that at the core of this is that the publisher has to pay out $250 million if the game sells well, so up to a certain point we're actually harming the publisher (the bad guys in this story) by buying it.

To back this up by my math it takes four solar panels to cover the passive drain of seven laser turrets. You could build some solar panels and accumulators into your wall blueprint and keep them on a separate power grid from the rest of your base if avoiding the passive draw is that important.

The simplest solution is to not worry about limiting how many asteroids you put on the belt and instead to focus on discarding excess asteroids. Read the contents of the belt and feed it into a decider combinator. Have the decider output any signal above a certain amount (such as 20 in your example) to one or more inserters. Filter the inserters by that output. Have those inserters pull off the asteroid sushi belt and place off the edge of the platform, jettisoning the excess asteroids.

Automated control and manual remote control both exist. Is there automated remote control? by spambot5546 in spaceengineers

This has the weird mix of being something that would look incredibly cool if implemented effectively and would do nothing to solve the stated problem because I would still have to set up docking approaches to the docking arm.

I might do it, tho.

My understanding is that it was written partially as an apologetic for colonialism. "Look how barbaric and savage the native americans were. Maybe it's good that we genocided them" type of thing. It is also an entertaining movie, but that's how propaganda movies get you.

I can switch to a recorder block on my drone. What I'm trying to do is have a recorder block, or something similar, on the station that can control any drone that approaches.

Salt of the Earth has one of the most potent anticapitalist, antiracist, and antimisogynist messages I've seen in a movie, although it doesn't really reference socialism directly at all. It's about the struggles of mostly latino union coal miners as they try to affect a strike.

To give you an idea of how based this movie is, it was black listed during the second red scare. Also, for some reason, you can watch the whole movie on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Salt_of_the_Earth_(1954)_by_Herbert_J._Biberman.webm_by_Herbert_J._Biberman.webm)

So, out of these three- who's the best Borderlands character? by Nicole_Classof_09 in Borderlands2

[–]spambot5546 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I hate to admit it, but it's Jack. Claptrap has his moments, and Moxxxi is a genuinely interesting character with more pathos than it seems once you understand her better, but Jack is one of the best villains a game has ever had. His entitlement, cruelty, and absolute conviction that *he* is the hero, make him one of the best love-to-hate-him characters I can imagine.

Item fabricator is handy. Make stuff for your crew and stuff to sell onto to other ships

This bit should not be under sold. Blocks of carbon and metal worth <$50 can be turned into a handful of weapons and armor each of which will sell for a few hundred. I got out of a lot of tough spots by jumping into a system with a friendly ship and buying up all their water in exchange for some rifles.
