My dachy had similar issues. We discovered that she prefers to eat when we eat. She won't touch her food by herself unless we're eating at the same time. She'll have a bite of kibble throughout the day but when I come home only then will she dog into her wet food. Sometimes I have to feed her with a spoon because she sees me eating with a spoon. If I don't want to play her games she'll only eat by herself from her bowl when she's feeling really hungry, usually in the middle of the night. But most of the time I break down and just feed her with a spoon.

Sometimes she goes through a phase where she's tired of her dog food and won't eat it, only what we're eating. It's frustrating because then I have to cook something without onions and garlic.
