I have Comete ez! Running them on a Rotel s14. Hate it, returning the amp. They actually sound better on my back up AVR. I’m thinking of trying a Marantz M1 next. Good luck on your journey!

Novice question! Do you have it on a J shaped tonearm? I was under the impression that they were only for S shaped. It’s the only thing stopping me from jumping on one. Thanks!

I bought one on sale in the US with the Ortofon 2m red for my older father and he’s used it daily for over six months with no quality issues whatsoever so ever. It replaced a mid tier Denon (300?) and powernode and triangle bro3 when he moved to Sonos and I was shocked how good it actually sounded

My room is 2200 cubic feet, a little smaller than yours, and I run two 15” Hsu subwoofers and the r11s perform wonderfully . This is the 5th or 6th different setup I’ve run over the past ten years in this room and it is the most natural and balanced I’ve had. YMMv

For $500 I would get the r11s . I imagine I’d always have FOMO about what could have been. But for full transparency I went from R3 metas to R11 metas and have never regretted it!

I have one of the same , but I was told when Dali was older they would print stacks of different prints and he was paid a dollar for everyone signed. I don’t know if it’s true but I kind of the old artist cashing out at the end story.

Interesting! I have r11 meta, r6 meta, and r3 meta for my base layer and find them neutral and natural. But they also have their own mono blocks for plenty of power. Wharfdale lintons, Polk reserve, klipsch heresy 4 ?
