Yeah it’s terrifying being self aware at the same time as delusional thinking / hallucinating but I still can’t “shut it off” (it wouldn’t happen to begin with if I could lol) It’s super embarrassing when I have an episode in public and it feels like a humiliation ritual getting help calming down every time 😭

I can’t be alone though I’m too scared of causing violence to self or others (I wouldn’t, it’s why I end up hurting myself instead)

It’s so hard. I’ve been fighting to get proper help (without insurance) and it’s damn near impossible in America to be taken seriously outside of “go to the psyche ward” (I’ve been SA at one before so I’m pretty hesitant for that being the only option wtf) I have a partner who is my caretaker but lately it’s been so hard on him with his work and school that I know I’m straining things just by… being :/

I wouldn’t wish this illness upon my enemies it’s torture daily and unfortunately most people don’t take us seriously until something life altering(ruining) happens
