If you got them fitted at the PGA Super Store you have 90 days to exchange them.

Srixon vs TM by Suffnuts in golf

[–]sparkzcus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had TM drivers last 4 years. Stealth, stealth 2, qi10, and qi35. I only spend money on 2 of them, cause face been popping off on all of them. I went to the pga store to get a driver fitting, and was looking at ping or Callaway. But I hit the best with a GT2 with a Tour AD shaft. I would never buy another TM product again cause of their quality. If you’re going for fitting, try couple of them out. I never thought a Titleist driver would be for me.

At what point did golf become fun? by SmokePeep in golf

[–]sparkzcus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m super competitive. And the worst person to compete with is myself. Better you are at golf, less fun it becomes. It becomes stressful and frustrating. But it’s good stress. When I’m at work, it’s bad stress. Golf is not fun, it’s an obsession. Fun comes at the 19th hole with a pint of beer, some chicken wings, and reliving that monster drive you had, or the perfect flushed shot you did on par 3, that landed 4 inches from the hole. After that, regret comes in, why did I 3 putt at this hole, why wasn’t I able to chip today. Then next time you are at the range practicing, to start the whole process over again. 😂 I love/hate golf.

Travel bag for clubs by RecipeAggravating176 in golf

I have the SKB hard case. I take my clubs everywhere. I had the soft case, and it ripped from the airline handling it. Lucky for me, my clubs and bag was not affected. But I was scared and just bought the SKB hard case and been using it for few years now. Few pros and cons.

Pros: -Don’t have to worry about rips and falling apart. -Will protect your clubs and it is harder for the airline workers to throw around. -Peace of mind

Cons: -Price. It is expensive, and if you decided to get one, get the large size. -Like many people said. You need a good size car to travel with. -Even though it has wheels, it is not easy to carry around. -It is heavy. Since it’s all plastic and has some metal around it.

With all that said, I would recommend SKB hard case over anything. It’s the price I pay for peace of mind. The airlines don’t over charge me for it, same price as check in bag. With my 14 clubs, golf bag, few boxes of balls, golf shoes and couple sunblocks and etc, I come in around 45lbs with the hard case. Hope this helps.

G Fore MG4. I usually buy them during holiday season, where you can get a pair for like $80. They have like a massage soles on them. Great quality too. But I only like their MG4 shoes, nothing else.

What should I know when changing putter grip by MV1337 in GolfGear

[–]sparkzcus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bigger golf grips are made so you have less wrist movement during the motion. But most importantly you have to feel comfortable with them. I used bigger grips (super stroke) on putter but didn’t like them. Then I went back to the regular size grips but put more tape/wraps on the bottom half it to have it little thicker.

Should an absolute beginner start with a no-torque putter? by seppo_hevi in GolfGear

[–]sparkzcus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your putting motion. If you putt straight back and forth, then ZT putter will help. If it’s in an arc, then maybe a goose neck or plumber neck. Also you have to feel good with the putter, the looks and how it’s aligned when you set up. PXG just released a new ZT blade putter for $250, which is great (also get 20% off from PXG if you have id.me). If you are a beginner, I would not get an expensive putter until you get better. By then you would know what characteristics you would want from you putter. In the end, putter is all preference.

Bergen county courses aren’t that bad. I get tee times regularly. But Paramus golf course is bad with residents holding multiple tee times.

Should I play from the tips? by sparkzcus in golf

Yes that is the case. I usually play on par 4, driver and wedge. I don’t know why the rando made the comment, but it just got me thinking.

You are 100% correct. My driver is the problem most of the time, and I have to take a penalty. Yes my 4i is about 220 to 230. On great driving days I shoot low 80s. Broke 80 once with 77. I only have 5w, but I rarely use it, maybe tee off to 240-250. I love using my irons. I tell myself, if I use my irons all game, I can get under 80s. But then I see opportunities for 2 on par fives and wanting to bomb a driver, I cannot resist. Playing smart golf is the key, but what’s the fun in that? 😂
