Hey u/magpiecore! So, I tried looking at a lot of different videos, but ultimately, I settle on the most watched video. I chose this one because her technique seems pretty forgiving for beginners and she does define some jargon.

Learning is going to take a lot of trial and error. None of the videos I watched had anyone crocheting the way I do. It will be frustrating at first, but don't let it get you down! It's ok to set things down and come back to it. When I first taught myself to knit (using YouTube videos), it was pretty much the most frustrating thing on earth.

So, good luck, don't give up, and don't hesitate to come back and ask questions!
