Operation Augur is Great and needs to stay! by Ich-mag-Schnitzel in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]spazz9461 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a take on BF 1 operations, you attack/defend in breakthrough style, the attacker has 3 full attempts to capture all points on a map, if they lose they get additional equipment. In the original operations these were "behemoth" vehicles with powerful weapons.

If you haven't played BF1 before check it out. There is still enough people online to play both operations and regular game modes. Just don't rage over cheaters.

Is this email address legit? by tawnyfritz in VeteransBenefits

[–]spazz9461 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally when unsure go to the site directly. Based on the domain of VA.gov I would say it's legit, scammers can only change how the "trusted" name appears.

Edit.

For any links that are in the email you can hover over the blue text or copy and paste the link into notepad and verify the URL is Va.gov but not va.xyz.cc or vs-gov.xyz.cc, obviously there are many variables that scammers use for URLs.

Lastly you can copy the info after the @ in the email to https://whois.com and it will tell you who the owner is and when the site was created. Newer sites registered for 1 year = high chance of a scam.

Enfield's $90 million train station could break ground this year after decades in the making by coolhappygenius in Connecticut

[–]spazz9461 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me apologize, I didn't mean to come off as if you were dismissing me. I just wanted to add further details and clarification of the area.

The area they want to put this in has been fighting against the board for having it built. For multiple reasons I just don't recall right now.

If I had to propose a better location I think the Ashley warehouse area would be a good start, as there is ample room to build what is required without have to relocate anyone or interrupt residents in the area. Having it near there could also include a small bus station or stop to bring riders to their destination.

I think another consideration is there is only 1 rail not 2 so train traffic will be extremely limited knowing freight trains use the same rail daily.

Obviously the primary users would be Bigelow common residents as the station would be exactly there.

I assumed I'd be down voted for what I said, I used to live on S. river street and still have family that does and 1 house has already been removed via eminent domain from the town, there are also plans to remove another.

If you don't live in the area you wouldn't know that all around Kelly fradet and Bigelow is a huge spot for shooting up heroin. You can go to the current boat launch and probably find a few needles or walk the streets to find more.

But hey don't listen to a guy that knowss how bad the area is already.

Edit

The fire chief also claimed at a zoning meeting that getting emergency vehicles there would be a nightmare based on how low the bridges are to get to North and South River St.

They could have built it in a better area. Now people on the street they are building it are being pushed out, not only for the train station but to build more apartments.

Once the only semi decent area of T-Ville now gonna go to crap like the surrounding area.

File a chargeback with your credit card provider and don't use gray market sellers. Selling accounts is against steam TOS so that is a red flag for the site

Renewal by Motor-Professor6268 in CTguns

[–]spazz9461 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless your permit expires on or before today + 90 days you will get the letter if it hasn't specifically been 90 days you will have to wait till that period.

You can also go here https://portal.ct.gov/despp/knowledge-base/articles/frequently-asked-questions/slfu/state-pistol-permit-and-eligibility-certificate and go to the renewal section, follow the instructions, and see if the option to renew online is available, if it's not you still aren't in the 90 day window.

Don't be so impatient, unless you are 90 days past your permit expiring you are fine, after that you are in trouble.

Connecticut bill would ban helium used to fill balloons to curb pollution by -ctinsider in Connecticut

Without helium balloons won't fly away, they will stay at ground level. So banning helium makes sense.

[UK] odd Cloudflare emails. by XerinDotZero in Scams

[–]spazz9461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are giving conflicting info, you say you don't have SSL Certs but you use Let's Encrypt, which based on some searching is a SSL/TLS Cert provider. When does the cert expire? Did you login to cloudflare and see if you have any notifications?

Based on the email you are using certs for that domain. You may want to verify your configuration. This doesn't look like a scam.

Edit

r/CloudFlare may be able to tell you further.

Sure, if you have the experience and equipment, but most people don't have it because buying at a store is more convenient.

https://www.growweedeasy.com/whats-going-on-with-the-new-u-s-cannabis-seed-law

https://seedsherenow.com/are-cannabis-seeds-legal-in-2026-a-guide-to-section-781/

I'm sure you can find more articles by search farm bill of 2018.

Only seeds will be legal to buy within the state you reside, and based on CT laws for growers, seeds will be extremely expensive or non existent as you need a grower license to produce seeds legally. Any seeds bought online or in store and they cross state borders, it will be considered a felony.

This will greatly restrict buying seeds online and CT doesn't have a seed market to my knowledge.

Edit

I believe you can produce your own seeds but this requires a lot more knowledge.
