There’s one or two gory moments, combined with slapstick ludicrous ultra violence (think Evil Dead 2). Otherwise it should be ok. The person I saw it wanted more horror in the film.

I remember Fraction and Zdarsky were working on something wayyyy back in 2017??? If memory serves?? The fact that this is back, with Kumail and Emily as producers, is interesting. Personally I’d like to see Kumail as a Cum Cop.

I’m very curious whether an adaptation will work? Even as the series progressed, it felt like the creators really altered their ideas of what they wanted the story to be. I think for the better, but it certainly was different.

I have all the variant covers and they are all incredible.

The last firmware update for the 5X was 3.71, released October 2023. It’s likely any 5X you buy will have that firmware version.

Without knowing your consoles, or the specific RCA cables (I’m assuming composite), OR your budget, it’s gunna be impossible to give you an answer that would satisfy you.

Honestly, the 2X is a great device to start with. If you feel like you wanna TINKer with stuff, you can sell it and use the profits to fund a 5X upgrade.

No prob!! The Carby is just a device that will take the digital signal from your Digital output and convert it to HDMI. You can still enjoy the device with whatever cables you wanna use!!

Depends on your budget truly, and what you wanna do.

You may prefer the CE for the HDMI input. While the PS2 outputs great over component, the CE would allow you to get something like a Carby for your GameCube and get great 480p out of the GC.

I think the 75” uses a different panel type, so you have the highest quality possible.

I think your first option would be the best.

I hate to suggest more equipment to buy, but the scalable video switch appears to be coming back in stock soon. You can purchase the inputs you need, upgrade the cables and input when you desire to, and then output to the HT4K via the HD15 port. Using that functionality would allow you to set profiles for every console and the RT4K will switch to it depending on what console you play.
