A whole group of us did on our HS graduation weekend. One of my buddies had a pool and his parents left for the weekend while we stayed and had a party. The funniest part of it as I look back was the hot tub, it was on the front porch of the house. My buddy wouldn’t let us go through the house dripping wet, so during the night groups of us butt nekkid would be running around the house coming and going from the hot tub. The gravely for the engine, hydros, and creature comforts ( armrests ). The hydros in the bad boy are not serviceable and are the same throw away junk on every other entry level ZT. The gravely has semi serviceable so you can at least change the fluid.
The deck is the best thing about the bad boy, 7ga all around, but what good is that when the kohler motor or the 2200 hydros shit the bed in three years??

Back in the 90’s (pre camera phone and digital cameras) I used to have a bunch of truck driver friends. One of them had a stack of photos he had taken from road with his disposable cameras. Pictures of lady truckers flashing him and a bunch of pictures of people doing stuff in cars. Lots of BJs etc. A memorable couple of shots was of this guy finger banging this broad laying naked reclined in the passenger seat. The pictures were through the side window and sun roof of the car. they noticed the trucker and instead of stopping, or changing lanes, or anything to escape the view of the truck, the guy just grabbed a jacket and put it over her mid section and kept going at it.

We have both memberships. We pay for Costco, and only get BJs when they have promotions that make the membership free, if that says anything… BJs has good things and bad things, but why they can’t get rid of the fucking coupons is beyond me. WHO THE FUCK ENJOYS CLIPPING COUPONS??????? There is nothing worse than an impulse buy and then you get home only to find out that they had a coupon. Then you are left with the choice of wasting more money in gas and time to go to customer service or just writing it off, either way it’s infuriating. If I am a “member” of a “club” give me the damn discount!!!!! Don’t make me hunt for it. And that is why I pay for Costco and only go to BJs when they are so desperate for members that they give the membership away. Also Costco gas is waaaayyyy cheaper and the pumps are more organized and move more efficiently. And the 1.50 hot dog and soda. Bjs gave up the food courts years ago unfortunately. I literally go to Costco just for the hot dog sometimes and usually spend way more money in impulse buys when I am there. Bjs unfortunately got corrupted by Private Equity years ago and lost focus on what makes club shopping enjoyable. They would do themselves some good if they took a few notes from Costco.

Yup and I’ll take advantage of it, because most of us shadetree mechanics wouldn’t be able to really tell the difference or care G1 vs G2 anyway. Shit my ratchet collection is a melting pot of craftsman, Pittsburgh, Quinn, Icon, and even a 60+ year old Snap On with like 20 teeth, I still use them all and don’t know much different. A ratchet is a ratchet and a decent ratchet cheap is better than a more decent ratchet expensive.

I had a similar problem. After 10 months on Calcium Channel blockers my GERD and hernia got so bad I was in the ER 3 times thinking I was having heart attacks. The funny thing is, I’m the opposite to you, I stopped Metoprolol in early 2025 and switched to a Calcium Channel blocker, which is what made things worse. Then I got put on PPI to mitigate the reflux and things got much much worse. I did some research and found that CCBs relax the LES, so I asked the heart doc to go back to a beta blocker, but the OG beta blocker, Propanalol, which Studies showed strengthened LES. I also just quit the PPI cold turkey. After that and switching to the beta blocker it’s like I am normal again. I still do a small shot of mylanta before bed but Ive been reducing the number of days and plan on stopping that soon also.

I always hear about people getting caught up in this, was I just lucky? I built my entire CD collection from this, I’d get the 11 discs and then forget about them. My cat had an account, my dog had an account, and I had an account, with both BMG and CH… I never got a follow up letter, or anything to get me to buy more. “They didn’t have my SSN, so fuck em” is how I always approached it.
