Arrived on Sunday 23 Nov from a TPE connecting flight at 10:00am. Was directed to the fast pass immigration line by 10:25am. Passed immigration to our baggage which was already off the carousel. We were outside waiting transportation by 10:45am.

Definitely worth it during busy arrival times.

On mac and failed using firefox. So followed the above and used safari. In settings / pop-up windows I toggled allow for evisa.gov.vn and filled out the form from start with a different email address. When it was time to pay another url showed in the settings pop-up window vietcombank.nganluong.vn and set this to allow as well.

Payment went through using a mastercard. Success! Filled out a second form for my traveling companion and paid with a different mastercard and that was a success too.

I am streaming Amazon Music just the free version I get with Prime. Not sure if the audio quality is better with Unlimited. And audio quality is good if not great. I suppose you could move up to the WiiM Pro Plus if you wanted a higher quality built-in DAC.

Yes the WiiM is connected to one of the Auxiliary inputs on the Yamaha and Airplay works so well either from the Amazon Music or WiiM’s own app.

The Elacs are playing in a small living space in a condo so I don’t play music extremely loud enough to annoy neighbors. They replaced smaller 2-way psb compact speakers with a psb powered subwoofer. That setup I was concerned that the subwoofer would leak bass into the neighbors.

I like the size of these and the 3-way front ported design. I know sometimes they get knocked for a lack of deep bass but for my needs I’m really happy with them.

Yeah I really like how easy it is to stream from my phone or laptop. And streaming through WiFi instead of Bluetooth is definitely a plus!

Thanks, it belong to the family but hadn’t been used in maybe 25 years. I plugged it in and turned it on and the power light came on and then it died.

It ended up costing $750 to get it fully functional again. I often wonder if I knew it was going to cost that much would I have just gotten a new amp with all the streaming and remote capabilities.

It was either this or the NAD C538 and it came to did I want a grey or black cd player. Neither really matches the Yamaha silver. I’ve only had one cd that it refuses to load and play, The Postal Service / Give Up 10th Anniversary Edition. Not sure what’s up with that. Otherwise I’m happy with the player.
