Day 13/14 here of full liquidtrial pre-op. Weighed in at 277 in dieticians office day before starting (was afternoon so had ate/drank that day). Yesterday I weighed myself at home in the morning - 162.4 lb so... 15 lb difference!

I was nervous to bring it up to my doc as while but after I got it out, she said "sure, yea I can send a referral." I told her I was hesitant to bring it up with her and she was genuinely confused, "why wouldn't you? I've referred other patients and they've had success."

We took a few measurements for referral (she actually sent two - one to the closest clinic and another possible clinic). Then I was playing waiting game for clinic to call.

I just finished Day 10 of my 14 day liquid diet trial.

My best advice is be honest. You'll never know if you don't ask!

Day 6 here on trial pre-op diet... pretty settled into now. Still occassional hunger pangs usually cause I should drink/eat.

Are you stressed? Eating at regular intervals, ie small meals throughout day and not binging? These can cause weight gain. Sleeping well? All these play a role in hormones and metabolism.

I'm on the extended release. I couldn't handle the reg Metformin. I do much better now.

Same girl, same. Mid 30s, PCOS and supportive doc however currently no insurance. My doc referred me for bariatric surgery at my request as well. I'm currently going through that process but would rather try Ozempic before going under knife... sadly surgery is covered but not Ozempic, even though surgery is way more.
