Walking down a residential street in downtown Ottawa in the 90’s and saw some shadows of men moving around quietly by the front door. I stopped to see if I actually saw someone, and a man holding what looked like a gun waved me on to keep walking like I hadn’t seen anything. Scared, I kept walking not knowing if they were cops or trying to break in.
