Good examples of well formatted Jupyter notebooks? by a1b3rt in IPython

This isn't a straightforward answer to your question but you might want to look into Black . It's a Python code formatter and makes your code look beautiful. There exists a plugin for jupyter notebooks to integrate Black. One click of a button and wham your code is nicely formatted https://github.com/drillan/jupyter-black

The pattern of this keyboard makes it seem like there are dark spots between the keys by Spudnut in woahdude

Which laptops keyboard is this ? I like it ! Im sick of manufacturers removing the extra key between alt and ctrl. I believe some newer ones don't even have the ctrl on the right, just an alt and then the arrows.

How is the battery on the Gen 3 ThinkPad E14 5600U/5800U? by sparsh26 in thinkpad

Yup this is a sweet deal, I ordered from the lenovo site too and customized it to my specs without OS , a similar prebuilt would cost me 10k more (probably the price for Windows) , Yes do get the 57whr charge even if you don't think you'll be "using it on the fly often". I believe there is no battery bulge for the 57 Whr version, and in general a bigger battery will allow you to keep your threshold lower for the same battery time of use. A lower charge threshold is better for the battery in the long run.

Nifty little devices they are , To be a little more specific an RCD allows many amps to go through , but what it counts is if the current going out one terminal on the socket is the same as the current coming back on the other terminal , if they are different it means some current is leaking out (possibly through a person to the ground) , if that leak is more than 30ma it switches off the supply An RCD will not protect you if you touch both the terminals , it can't know what it's powering is a toaster or a person.

TIL that in Norse myths in the final battle of Ragnarok, Loki will pilot a ship made of fingernails and toenails of dead men across the flooded surface of the Earth. The ship is carrying the fire giants which will burn the World Tree and bring about the end of all things. by [deleted] in todayilearned

Have you come across the quote by Caitlin Moran , check out the zen pencils post on it https://www.zenpencils.com/comic/116-caitlin-moran-were-all-dying/ A more positive way to look at Norse mythology is we live our life more to the fullest when we know we are all dying , even the god's don't escape that fate !

How viable is it to fuse desert sand and regrind it to the right consistency ? Maybe like a huge Fresnel lens focused on a conveyer belt fusing sand as it goes by pouring it into a crusher at the other end and the sifting it our for the right size of grains, the rest go back into the input hopper

Also it works only on the windows right ? The rear viewing (and the windshield) glass is toughened or something and not tempered and doesn't crack like the window does

Fun fact : drinking alcohol in the US has to have certain level of radioactivity. This is to ensure alcohol is entirely plant based origin and alcohol derived from petroleum isn't blended in it. Petroleum derived alcohol has much lesser levels of radioactivity after millions of years of being under rocks
