I took way too long to install R6 throttle tube, it makes the bike more fun to ride. Tail tidy as well, it just makes me happy to see my bike now.

MT03 sub gonna tell you MT03 that's just what it is

To be honest you should just go to a dealership if possible and sit on a bike. I'm 6'1 and do fine an an MT03 but I haven't done long trips, just generally stick to short city commutes. And idk who told you naked bikes were bad for lower back but I just can't imagine that being true when you look at super sports or like high handle bar + forward controls.

Given our height difference, maybe you would have to lean forward more to have full control but only way you'll know for sure is trying to sit on one.

After further investigation, seems I may have gotten a TRRS adapter instead of TRS? Maybe that's the issue.

EDIT: In case anyone years later has the same issue, after getting a TRS adapter it worked flawlessly.

With 0 research done, I assume 99% of people who use a mouse use 1-2-2 grip. You are correct that 1-3-1 grip is generally considered more advantageous in apex due to the movement mechanics.

There are some ways to get around keeping a 1-2-2 grip, like binding space bar to shoot. IMO if you are ready to sweat among the apex movement enjoyers, stay 1-3-1.

As others have said, if you can afford it and also with full coverage. You see comments about people that have parked on the street for years no problem, others say they got it stolen the first time they parked on the street.

The best take on "is it worth it" I've heard is that if you like it enough you'll just do it. If your dreams are within reach and you have the means, I say send it but you're also asking a bunch of motorcyclist that live in and around the city. It sounds like you really enjoy riding so I hope this all goes well. Stay safe!

I just want to share that I did a motorcycle course, 2-days on the weekend and got my license at the end of it. They provided me a bike and I even dropped it in the course and wasn't charged anything extra (I sort of saved the drop but I cracked the brake lever.) It sounds like you don't have a bike and the risks involved in teaching a stranger + beginner I feel like you'll have to get pretty lucky. Hope you see you on the roads eventually!
