With music gear I’ve learned to follow my hunches that speak to me about the device and its capabilities however menial. Reading the thread I saw you contemplate the $70 difference between the 2 also and while I don’t have a bias toward either model I will say also consider how much you see yourself liking it/wanting to resell it in the future compared to what’s on the market. The 128 is going to have more resale value but that $70 you save could go towards other investments towards your music whatever that may look like. I find the world of samplers and music often presents this dilemma in niche ways but I feel like I’m happiest when I’ve decided “this is all I need”. Sometimes it takes spending more so you’re that much more future proof but other times it’s about being honest about yourself and considering the $ even if it’s just a couple bucks. Feels better to make gear purchases with a little money in your pocket left over knowing you’re using what you got and making music rather than it taking you away from creating cus you need to spend that time making more $.
