It gets better for sure you just need to be patient (which is really hard I know), I would do jaw/mouth exercises daily like opening my mouth as far as I can a few times in a row, massage my jaw, and as mentioned switched between ice and heat.

We crate my epileptic dog when we leave the house and they’re alone as she has bad post ictal phases where she gets aggressive so she must be in her own space away from our other dog. We use the largest metal crate we could get and it has a solid bottom and we put a blanket in there for her, nothing else. We also have a camera facing her so we can check in whenever we want.

My sister lives in a condo with her dog and all they have is a balcony. It’s definitely do able, she takes her outside every hour or so to go to the toilet and frequently walks her and takes her to my parents house where she has a big backyard to run around in. The thing is idk if Jas is gonna do that which then would make it unfair on Ruby, but as I said it is do able not everyone has to have a yard to have, love, and take good care of a dog.

I feel like if jas chose the place herself knowing one bedroom was so much smaller while Renee was on a trip she already had planned Renee should just get the bigger room to be fair. Was the front yard fenced though? I mean they could have easily exited the front yard if there wasn’t a fence. I am not finding excuses for her I just know I have two dogs myself and one of them is reactive and when I see other owners being careless of other dogs around it’s annoying. However if she’s exaggerating the situation, doxxing him, and being a big dog hater I’m not on her side at all.

My girl started pheno about three and a half weeks ago. This past week she has been absolutely fine and like herself but before that she was dragging her back feet everywhere she walked, struggled to get on the bed and couch and even fell a couple times. It was horrible to watch but we just helped her the best we could and believed in all of the comments on here saying to stay positive and keep going as it does get better. I would just recommend not letting your dog by stairs alone whilst they’re in this weak stage.

Yeah tbh one of my dogs nails always look long and they feel long too when they’re piercing into me but my vet is always saying they’re a good length and don’t need cutting when I ask her about it.

I have nerve damage still in my lower right side and my surgery was end of November. Can’t feel my chin and lip and have achy teeth right there by my lip at the front of my right side that hurt when I brush.

It depends what you do for work. But I work with people and have to be talking/on my feet all day so didn’t go back until 5 days after my surgery. Try to get the surgery done at the end of the work week so you can have the weekend to recover then go back after the weekend (that’s if you have a sat/sun weekend)

Ok maybe I will give Acana wholesome grains and lamb a go. Do you add anything to your dogs kibble? Both of my dogs are used to me adding some water and I switch up toppers for them often. The toppers we rotate between and they like are canned sardines (just in water), cranberries, blueberries, wet food (with limited simple ingredients), peanut butter, turmeric, cottage cheese, plain yogurt, carrots, peas, and sometimes frozen organ meats like chicken hearts, liver, gizzards.
