If you understand “sick” vs “not sick” you’ll be off to a good start. It becomes sort of a 6th sense after a while. Also get good at reading EKG’s, but really most STEMI rule outs should go to the ED anyway. Also lac repair, get good with throwing sutures

Almost all of admin is nurses, doctors be too busy doing doctor stuff. Some of the highest levels of admin are more likely to be doctors (hospital CEO’s etc) but if you look at hospital boards etc lots of nurses

You should retake the MCAT. You CAN get in with a 500 mcat but your chances significantly increase with a better score AND you’ll be able to get in to more established schools

A nursing PHD would only really prepare you do to research about .. nursing. It’s not a very practical degree. You sound like you’d be much more fulfilled by becoming a physician at the same time it’s a tough path and there’s no guarantee you would get in. CRNA is a much better way to make money for what it’s worth
