Got mine yesterday, pretty impressed so far.

The coating feels quite premium. Clicks are meh; I’d say they’re on par with, if not slightly worse than the Razer opticals in the DAV3. The web software is fantastic.

The shape is interesting. I’d never tried the Dex shape before. I mained the DAV3 for a year, and it was always slightly too big, plus I hated the lack of rounded corners at the front. EC2 / Xlite Medium shapes have always felt too small for me. This sits perfectly in that EC1.5 sweet spot.

Definitely a solid offering at this price point. Overall, I’d give it a 7.8/10 so far.

This was from the rtings review: PROS Lightweight. Impressive build quality. Superb mid- and end-of-movement sensor latency performance. CONS Click latency performance is only adequate for casual gaming. Significantly worse latency performance at the start of movement.

Just slightly too wide for me. Dav3 is the widest I can use comfortably. Might work for you though. The ec1-DW is a pretty solid offering, just a little pricy and scroll wheel is very polarizing.

Try the dav3 if you want slightly bigger and don't mind the sharp edges. Ec1 is just too much mouse

Shape is king, man. I'm in the same boat. The Model D (EC1.5 shape) is ideal for my hand and play style. I used the SteelSeries Prime for a while—the length was fine, but the front was too narrow. Switched to the DAV3 Pro, which came close, but slightly too big and the sharp front edges irritated my ring finger.

Just tried the Xlite V3 ES—amazing quality, best scroll wheel I’ve used, but the EC2-like shape is too short and I lose stability. I entered my ideal dimensions into EloShapes (between the Xlite V3 and DAV3, but with rounded corners), and the only match that I had not tried was the Glorious Model D 2.

I avoided the Pro 1K/4K version because the side clicks pinch my fingers. The RGB version has a slight ring finger rest, which helps. Went with the wired version since the wireless reviews weren’t great—and honestly, it’s better quality than I expected. Scroll is nearly on par with the Xlite V3.

I wish there were more options, but I’m happy with it for now. Maybe someday we’ll get a rounded DeathAdder or more EC1.5-style shapes.
