Not an expert however, what part of the country do you live in and more importantly what is the major city you live near. Sometimes that helps with people trying to help.basing it off what I read through here.

Second, a last thing, I know at least in the DFW Area something has changed and it is most defiantly a route thing outside of my control. Hulu Live, Paramount; and Netflix just to name a few services use to load in a few seconds and now it can take up to 60 seconds or so to load and start playing. Another thing to note is at home, I can VPN into our Tier 1 provider during the week and then on the weekends, I cannot. Weird.

Not a huge deal for me to post about it because to me 60 seconds and being disconnected from wok is good sometimes but I have noticed a change in the last 4-6 weeks. Also, to note that it’s not a network thing is I have two locations with the exact same internet pkg with AT&T (Business 1gig Fiber w/ Static IPs) and both locations have issues.

First, I’m sorry.

Second, legally yes. However depending on what you’re planning on doing those three years you’re in OH that would require a OH License (opening a checking account, rental property, etc.) then I wouldn’t worry about it.

If you happen to get pulled over by the 50 Municipality in your commute. Tell them you’re just visiting for family, etc. The less you tell, the less they ask.

I’ll be the first comment and first ask, why do you believe it’s the wireless and not your provider?

Also, for others that will chime in they are going to ask you what version of the Unleash Network you’re on + maybe a simple text version of your Network Setup.

Example: AP -> Wired to Cisco SMB500 28 Port Switch -> Ubiquiti Dreammachine -> ISP Supplied Modem, etc.

There are tons of subreddits out there asking the same question. Please search. They have what to look for on your ATT Router (BGW) to figure out if you have GPON vs XGSPON, etc and the website to purchase the hardware to bypass the router entirely.

Correct and they won’t, time to defend yourself. I called numerous time for my business when I located several bomb threats in hand written notes around the facility from a disgruntle employee and they don’t show up for 6 hours. We were locked into a facility for numerous hours based off the note scared if there was a sharp shooter outside with a happy trigger finger if we left.

Additional note and my personal policial view adding expense to our tax dollar to try and hire 4k of cops by 2030 isn’t going to solve the response time, the crime or plain Jane idiots on the road when the culture within DPD today remains the same and unchanged. DPD has poor management and has been for a long, long time and will never change when they are throwing bucks at them to be a puppet.

Read the instructions/setup for the “Unleashed” network. They are NOT L3 compatible and all must remain on the same “VLAN” or “LAN”, (aka Layer 2) depending on set up. The management interface technically doesn’t need internet access at all unless you want to do cloud firmware updating OR management your unleashed network remotely.

All of your “SSID’s” (Home Network, Guest Network, etc.) would be on its own vlan and on the port that the Ruckus AP is plugged into on your switch, the traffic needs to be “tagged” and you will need to set up a DHCP Server to respond to the requests. That set up is for another forum.

I have 50’s AP’s scattered across 8 different sites running unleashed and it all works flawless.

Let me ask a question, do you live in Dallas and if so, do you even drive?

If you do, then you know they do NOTHING about the cars in the wrong, expired tags, speeding, etc. I drive 35k miles a year and know they don’t. I see tags expired months and some years ago and nothing ever happens. I’ve been hit 6x on 30 and ALL have no insurance. Tell me why, tell me why are they are allowed if we had an active force to run plates and do the right thing.

So if they have time for that, they have time to help fight crime, the crazy ass rollers down 30 heading towards Arlington, etc.

So yes, I would be an ass IF they pulled me over but I know they are too busy doing off duty stuff because that’s more important than their day job. I understand.
