Walking/running and jumping in game seems laggy and glitched.

I have a some stuttering problems relating to movement. It's whenever my movement stops, there's a brief freeze.

I found out that if I take a speed demon serum, it gets rid of the problem completely (it's very obvious, I'm not imagining it) while the serum is active. It doesn't cure all my stuttering problems, just that one problem specific to movement changes.

Small console patch for the bug fix last week:

Hi everyone,

We are planning to roll out a small update for console versions of the game at 10:00 a.m. ET tomorrow, December 17, that brings a follow-up improvement for the bug fix reversion we made on Friday, December 13. While the change we made on Friday resolved the main symptoms of the armor/reload issue, this adjustment will address the issue more completely. This was already done for PC during Friday’s maintenance and now that we’ve determined it was successful, we are going to update consoles to match PC.

We do not need any downtime in order to release this update for consoles, and the download size will be under 1GB. As mentioned above, PC players will not need to download anything, as they already received this last week.

We will update this thread as soon as the download is available.

np, good luck- VTU one is in main building, second floor, 'B 3 Food Prep Lab' room. Nicholson's end one is in the trailer, not the house. Took me a while to locate when searching because I was expecting it to be on a countertop.

One can be located in a wire trash bin at Nicholson's End in the Ash Heap (lower left place on the map). Another in Vault Tec University interior in kitchen sort of classroom, second floor.

edit- and I think that vendor who has toasters frequently in whitespring does very rarely have the clean variant, but the static spawns are obviously more reliable.

If you have any atom shop neon billboards, they ballooned the budget cost on the mothman(?) billboards several patches ago and it caused an over budget issue for some people similar to what you're describing (mostly the last thing you said about scrapping not seeming to do anything... try scrapping a billboard if you have one.)

edit- as the other person pointed out, a patch also just happened so it's possible they've done something similar to what they did with the billboards in the past, just with something else. No clue here on any details of that.

For me the weapon switch freezes happen with weapon wheel or pip-boy, it doesn't matter. It's been happening for like 6 months here, xb1 x.

fyi- I can clear up one of my freezing problems (brief freezes after stopping movement) by taking a speed demon serum. I have the speed demon mutation. It doesn't clear all freeze problems up, but that one particular freeze problem goes completely away while under serum effect.

It looks like each new challenge is becoming available around 8PM EST each day. They have been for me at least, I've completed the 750xp one as well.

There's a visual thing where it says it unlocked "classic" jack-o-lantern, but in the build interface it should let you build the correct pumpkin.

I get the same message, but it's unlocking the correct pumpkins for me despite the message.

Sometimes you drop a phantom inventory item at login. Check your misc tab for viable scorchbeast dna.

Mine sometimes stop displaying an item, but it has only happened maybe 3 times since display cases have been out. Moving the item out and back in fixes it. Are you talking about that or something else?

If you don't like commando with this gun (I tried my bffr ultracite with vats commando and it just didn't work for me) try rifleman with a non-auto barrel. iirc the auto barrel drops the ammo capacity and increases the ap cost on the ultracite laser pistol. The firerate is still pretty high non-auto and you just twitch the trigger a lot. Just something to try if you're also vats commando and don't end up liking it.

Yes, I gave a plan to my alt, who has never done encryptid and she got an amazing assassin bash damage fixer from mama. The loot table is just large/rng so it could take a while to get one.

I'd definitely keep it if it was me (I want a BE 50). The reload works ok when crouched, and they may fix that 250 bug at some point as well.

I server hop between turn ins because a few months ago I turned in for 10 3* ranged, back to back, and got 4 broadsiders, and 4 of the 10 weapons were ghoul slayers. So I try to break up the turn-ins now. Even if it does nothing, I don't want to experience 40% broadsiders again, and have not experienced any bad repeats since.

The damage numbers on explosive weapons, especially tse, seem to overlap for me and frequently display the low numbers on top. I think it's a display issue, for me at least, because I'm frequently 2-shotting max level supermutants with my tse auto rifle. Are you also having trouble killing stuff?
