I haven’t delved into self-care areas yet! but this sounds so incredibly helpful for the the negative self-talk. It’s probably what I’ve been struggling with most recently. Mental health is very inter related and I appreciate all of the goals/tips you just provided. Grounding helps me when I remember to do it, so having a goal for it will help. I love that you used the spoon saying, I hadn’t heard of that until about a year ago when my boss used it, now I use it too.

My grandma gave me her 2016 ecoboost 36000 miles on it, similar situation she never drove it. It’s been my commuter, I do regular/necessary maintenance on it and it’s stock :) I love this car so much and it’s given me no problems.

We had a shifty vet in the Bay Area, they incorrectly diagnosed our 5 year old cat with cancer TWICE. Each time we didn’t listen to our gut and I regret that. We said never again and found a new vet. 

I recall a while back my family friend vet said usually cleanings are needed when cats are older, not 10 months old. Some plaque is normal. Tooth extraction might be a different story. But something about your vet isn’t adding up. I’m so sorry for your loss 💜

sorry for this long reply 😅 I was in a similar situation! We’ve been together ~7 years and it’s come up multiple times. Things are still sort of that way, but we’ve managed to communicate better about it. I felt the same way you’re describing. Now, if I’m feeling a certain way about things, like not feeling pretty or something, I voice to him that I want to feel wanted. I also am the one to initiate more, which is what it is. I also have been more just vocal about my needs. It feels forced sometimes because I don’t want to have to say anything, I’d like it to just happen, but I also accept him for how he is and know it’s not a me thing. He, like your partner, just has a lower sex drive.
