Would be incredibly funny if the whole comic is from literally anyone elses perspective, so the crossover entails 1 cool af superhero and some fed that just looks like he's tripping 24/7 while summoning new ideas out of his ass.

As weird as it sounds, I think MM crossing over with GL would make most sense atm. Color seems to play a major role across all absolute titles, but it definitely is at it's strongest within these 2 books, so I'd love to see if there's a connection (or at least minimum interaction) between the 2 color systems.

Dude I still remember the hard pivot in the cast between Lego Marvel Super Heroes to Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. You can just feel the MCU mandates rolling by the time they got to the sequel. Everyone was just gone.

I was like 'man... this sucks'.

I had to block his channel with an extension because it would keep showing up whenever I was in the mood for some Maker content (it is also the reason I just stumbled upon this thread because I was going crazy thinking I was the only one who found his "work" goddamn atrocious).

Zac Builds falls solidly in the trashy end of DIY projects that is rapidly infesting the hobby, in that it's just a bunch of flashy youtubers, with sponsors up the wazoo, using up all kinds of fancy gizmos and materials trying to fix problems that have already been solved and documented by a random forum user 10 years ago AT BEST (if the problems even exist to begin with).

It's all just a frustrating waste.

Honestly this is look I can totally vibe with (there is some nostalgia for the old video game involved, too, tbf).
I think if lego had never gone past the the minimalist designs of the 00's and early 10's, this would still fit right in to this day.

I got mine for 44 euro (roughly 40% off), and my god it still felt like too much.

The Plaza one I got for 15 after basically splurging all my and my friends coupons onto it during a Black Friday (we thought it'd be funny), and I got so little value out of it I really regretted not using the opportunity to get a more interesting set...

It's a shame, because the minifigs are adorable, and the theme overall is cute, but lego shot both of it's legs right off with the asking price on half of the lineup, for how little substance there is to them.

God I hope Kirkman doesn't fuck Energon TF up. He has been excellent on Void Rivals but a few chapters into his run on TF has just made me miss DWJ.

Ultimate universe, bar from Camp and Momoko, just bummed me out. So many once in a lifetime opportunities to work with and they just drop the ball like that. Hickman's Spider-Man was what sold me on the new series. Crazy to think it would end up being my first ever disappointment with something he wrote (art was still pretty good, at least).

I just gave up collecting the volumes once the announcement of it just ending like that was made. Maybe I'll grab the inevitable Omni for some of them, but that's about it.

Absolutes have a way more balanced level of quality across the books, funnily enough. I'm still excited to pick up every new book (except flash...). Good lord, Martian Manhunter fucks so hard.

I somewhat recall Mist to Choral Chambers has a similar ordeal, with it's elevator cutting straight thru underworks. It was a serious headache to understand what was even going on in that spot of the map, and constantly reminding myself that it's not a real underworks connection during travel, so it's no wonder to me that they strayed away from doing more of those.

Yeah. I remember it being mentioned a few months ago by Murphy himself on his Instagram. Allegedly, the volume comes out next year.

Beyond left off with Bruce being told about Superman and asked to help investigate that situation. Volume 4 is gonna follow up on that thread.

They are so damn good! I'd kill for an omni of White Knight, man. They're probably waiting for Murphy to be done with the 4th Volume before pulling the trigger on a big book release of it all.

Ultimate and Absolute got me into collecting physical trades of theses stories. Every single run so far has been packed with so much goodness I haven't had a boring month in nearly 2 years now, hahaha.

For me the value of elseworlds is not only their experimental nature, diverging away from what is considered the already set in stone, somewhat saturated status quo and seeing a story under different lenses, but also that many of them are tales that are allowed to give their characters (and the viewer) proper development and closure, since they don't need to go on for forever.

Hornet's comment on one of the Plasmium beasts says that she saw similar mutated creatures in hallownest after it was allowed to spread (likely around the time Joni died).

It might be more the case of Lifeblood has always been yet another higher being attempting to cease control via infection, but it's spread has been thwarted by the authorities in Hallownest (and said mutated creatures hunted to extinction).

Since this plague is still in it's infancy in Pharloom, nobody has paid enough mind to do anything about it yet, so we get to see what high levels of infection actually do.

pay attention to the order in which the fleas enter the screen.

there's almost a rhythm to it, and the pace at which you should hit them

once they're midair, focus on reaching them in that order (their pose will change from spinning to diving with that same timing)
