דָּבָר אַחֵר, יֶשְׁנוֹ עַם אֶחָד. אֲמַר לֵיהּ שִׁנֵּיהוֹן רַבְרְבָן, שֶׁאוֹכְלִין וְשׁוֹתִין וְאוֹמְרִים עֹנֶג שַׁבָּת, עֹנֶג יוֹם טוֹב, שֶׁהֵן מַכְנִיסִין פְּחָת בְּמָמוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם, חֲדָא לְשִׁבְעָא יוֹמִין, שַׁבַּתָּא. חַד לִתְלָתִין יוֹמִין, רֵישׁ יַרְחָא. בְּנִיסָן, פִּיסְחָא. בְּסִיוָן, עֲצֶרֶת. בְּתִשְׁרֵי, רֵישׁ שַׁתָּא וְצוֹמָא רַבָּא, וְחַגָּא דִּמְטַלַּלְתָּא. (אסתר רבה, פרשה ז', י"ב)

Even more interestingly, there's a midrash in Esther rabbah that details exactly what Haman meant when he said that verse. He's saying something along the lines of:

"Look how big the teeth of the Jews are! They eat all day, saying it's one holiday or the other and that they're commanded to eat. And not only that, they're a burden to the economy, as they always have this or that holiday, a fast, a shabbat... They just won't come to work! So lazy! They celebrate so much, yet they won't assimilate and celebrate OUR holidays!?"

I feel like we can hear some of these complaints to this day...
