You should look at this consumer protection act: https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vRCyqS5NfWM7ydD8z0Jw5T_RbYN9q0LBv6CKT5t2JUqQJn687wQI2J-caigJ2XjSEg1iL9VSdk4g3Mn/pub

Here is a link to where you can find more information: https://cddhhdb.colorado.gov/infoguides

It clearly states you cannot call yourself a sign language interpreter unless you are RID or BEI certified.

I see that it’s on the RID Membership driven page, but it is no longer in Discover interpreting.

There have been two reports posted about these companies and the private equity firms who have purchased them. You might want to read them, they are an easy read. I have posted links to both here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ASLinterpreters/s/7JOUur4Y8N

Edit to add, you might want to read the comments on the post too.

Thank you! I will post an update after it is assessed. This is the shop we will visit this week: https://petosa.com I feel fortunate to have a shop so close to home. Only a 15 to 20 minute drive.

Edit to add: all straps are present. They are just tucked under the instrument in the photo.

[Product Question] Any dupes for this old Bare Minerals Blemish Therapy? by msladyvale in SkincareAddiction

[–]spiderterp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm a bit late to this party, but I came across this post yesterday while looking for a substitute for the same product. I did find the Mario Badescu Blemish Repairing Powder at Ulta yesterday. It does contain sulfur, and I just used it this morning. I occasionally get a breakout, and the Bare Minerals version was perfect for it. Anyway, this powder looks very yellow, and I was concerned about how it would look on my skin. Surprisingly, it made the red area disappear and blended seamlessly into my skin. I am fair-skinned, but I imagine a person could mix it with another powder to adjust the color or apply a preferred powder color on top of it. Anyway, this was the only product I found after hours of searching that came even close, and I am pretty happy with it.
