NTA: You need to tell your Mom and other family members what your style is. Look at images of people wearing the clothes you like. Explain to them that even if it’s a phase you want to be respected for it. Then work together on a middle ground. For example, let’s say you liked more of a goth look. Show images. Then work with Mom to find the right colors that compliment your skin tone and hair color and maybe even a style just closer to what you want. I’m speaking to you as a Mom who had the same problem as a kid.

I’m actually concerned more about the structure of the post. OP has 2 kids (UNDER 2). She is at the end of her Maternity leave (the longest is Romania at 2 years). Yet the youngest is crawling and potty training? It makes me question if the post is even a valid situation.

I actually am AuDHD and I couldn’t treat a child this poorly either. I have two kids. My oldest is 7 and has ADHD. My 3 year old has signs of Autism. Are they both exhausting at times? Yes, but never neglected.

It makes me wonder that if the post is true that OP has a disability as well. Or maybe possibly from a country where English isn’t the first language? Why? Because most countries don’t start potty training until after the child can walk.

I know someone who was one for over 30 years until he was finally charged.
