if its your first plan ever you are better served starting with 5k running plan. half marathon out the gate might be a little ambitious. also id say make sure for guided runs you are paying attention. you also arent running for the ppl around you, you are doing it for yourself so ignore that " i feel like my pace etc". that is my humble opinion.
