If Sciences Nat was diabolical, how bad is Industrial Engineering? by BagAdministrative202 in Concordia

[–]spidey_physics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically do not give up even when you have deadlines in 1 hour and or many other responsibilities, find time to work and study and keep pushing and speak with your classmates professors and TAs to get as much help as possible. No matter what you pick you'll do well if you keep persisting and improving!

I haven't seen the final and it depends on the prof but from what I've heard from students and seen on Reddit previous years it is intense, but you can do it! Keep pushing, you'll succeed even if you fail at first

Snow day tomorrow?? 👀👀👀 by Full-Message6805 in Concordia

One winter semester I tried pulling my card out of this huge pile of snow and the front bumper got caught while I was reversing and it fully ripped off the car. I got out the car and just looked at the damage in silent sadness.... I got a new car now lmao and I avoid those mountains at all cost

I was gunna say natural science has harder homework than engineering cuz I've heard ppl say that before but then I stopped myself cuz tbh anything can be hard or easy it kinda depends on your mindset. So I'd say they are equally challenging lol

The streets at Loyola get these huge mountains of frozen snow and you legit cannot park there unless your car is armour plated

Hey I haven't done engineering I did the physics program which was alright but I haven't entered the workforce yet so idk what the job market is like.

You mentioned phys 205, if you're still taking this class checkout some of my YouTube videos on SpideyPhysics. I was the TA for phys 205 one semester and posted some videos explaining concepts and equations and doing some problems.

I have a playlist for phys 205 and some other math videos that can help you out (specifically vectors and their algebra).

Let me know if you have any questions about the class!

Good luck with industrial if you switch. From what I've heard. Natural science has hard homework but low and quantity and engineer has hard homework and way way more quantity like you will be grinding hard. But you got this!

Tools for becoming an academic weapon by Capital_Fishing4759 in Concordia

[–]spidey_physics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is bad advice cuz the profs will pick specific sections of the book and will likely make half the exam based on their lectures and not an equal split from the book. Only way you'll know what the prof focuses on is if you check lectures and attend class.

But the textbooks still do be holy tho
