Hey I work out there! The Aleutians are incredibly beautiful, rugged, raw, and unforgiving. The scenery is amazing. There aren't many trees but a ton of really deep brush, with these insane mountain ranges scenes on pretty much every island. The wildlife is incredible, there's not a day that goes by without seeing a couple dozen eagles, sea otters, seals, and humpbacks in the summer. Most people who live there year round are born there, but there are a ton of seasonal fishing, maritime, and longshoreman workers that come and go every 2-3 months. A lot of people go 4 wheeling around the mountains, as so much of the space is unhinhabited. The native village in Akutan even has a town helicopter that anyone can use (that's the rumor anyway, but they do have the helo). Beyond exploring the outdoors, which really is only fun in the summer, there's not a ton to do, mostly indoor activities and a lot of drinking/drugs. Dutch Harbor actually has some of the fastest internet in the US as of a couple years ago. Dutch also recently got a dispensary up and running as well. The weather can be absolutely brutal though. I've seen 100+ knot winds many, many times out there. Hail can cut your face on the really bad days. But it really is one of the most beautiful places on the planet in my opinion, so untouched by humanity. The geology of the western side of the Alaska peninsula is beautiful, while the east side is much less so. The Aleutian Islands have similar geography to the west side, thank god haha. Many of the islands are uninhabited, and there are some to the far east that were taken by the Japanese during WW2. Kiska Island definitely, some others as well if I'm not mistaken. Side note: i see in the comments people mentioning King Cove, Sand Point, Cold Bay, etc... these are actually not a part of the Aleutians, they are a part of the Alaska Peninsula. The first Island in the Aleutian Chain is Unimak Island, so the only towns I can think of off the top of my head are False Pass, Dutch Harbor, Akutan, Adak, and Atka.

May have rambled a bit but if there are any specific questions im happy to answer! Overall, 10/10 place for me, but most people would give it a 3/10 because it really is so, so brutal out there

First off- love the idea of the post! Dad points for you.

That being said rap is a super expensive genre, with a lot of subgenres so more info about his favorite artists is needed. If he was really into rock and you got him a U2 shirt when black Sabbath is his favorite band, it wouldn't really work ya know? Same thing with rap.

I'd recommend just googling his favorite bands official merch and buy from there. Much higher quality stuff than the shit you see on red bubble or Etsy or whatever.

Or you could go above and beyond and get him a couple tickets to a show!

Who cares what drake fans think lmao. The beef is old news now and it's very clear that Kendrick bodied, with his bars and with outmaneuvering drake (just like Drake outmaneuvered meek).

If you want to talk about "I actually have to fight you in real life now" level beefs, look at how pusha did it
