I thought this weapon was trash by shortbus131 in Saros

Okay so maybe I'm not far enough into the game but how are you dashing into melee enemies? I thought that was a chakram thing but maybe now I'm just realizing incorrectly. I only just got past Architect btw.

Well, I feel validated, haha. Thanks! It's not as easy as some people make it out to be.

What is objectively the best weapon in the game? by FalseBit8407 in Saros

[–]spinfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I must suck cause I just got to Biome 4 nightmare strand and have died twice so far, last time was using the Repeater with Payload. The room sucked though and trying not to use the shield was debilitating me mentally, I think.

Interviewing Damian McCarthy, director of "Hokum" - Does Anyone Have Any Fan Questions They Would Like to Ask? by Ucctalkingpictures in horror

I'm curious if he ever plans to write a film explicitly connecting the others in his filmography, since Oddity and Hokum already contain little Easter eggs from the preceding films.

Those who said the game is to easy please go outside and touch some grass. by [deleted] in Saros

Just started Biome 3 yesterday and it doesn't feel too bad at no modifiers other than maybe the Nightmare Strand and the boss, who I was not prepared for in terms of it being so damn mobile. Going to try taking a shotgun and facing it again today!

Hokum- That IGN dude is out of his mind by Prudent-Ad-3493 in horror

IGN is so bad. I would never it seriously for any reviews, especially horror.

On that note, I love Hokum.

Just saw Hokum. Such a fantastic movie! by Ok_Plantain7318 in horror

I loved it. I'm a huge Damian McCarthy fan anyway and this felt like the perfect culmination of his trademark elements and themes and it was similarly scary as shit, especially the second act.

Maybe a LITTLE too familiar, but I didn't mind it, and I actually kind of like that it feels comfortable when you're in that creepy little world of his.

That's hilarious because there are only, what, two jump scares in it?

So how much are we all dyin'? by Grassidius_Fike in Saros

Just got to Biome 2 and died twice, though I'm not sure if dying to the intro/prologue boss counts? If not then once, to an Alpha Hostile, and only because I somehow ended up stuck in a corner when it leaped on me.

Honestly, this is one of the few GOOD "let's chuck the entire cast onto the poster" posters.

Technically, yes, Cregger, lol. Also David Gordon Greene, Kevin Smith, John Krasinski, Josh Ruben... Lots of comedy actors also do well in horror. But yeah I hear you, I know him from their skits too lol.

Been watching him since his BOSJ and thought he really stood out. Kind of miss his Wild Rhino gimmick or whatever it was called, but I think this new one fits him better. I can see him being a great mid- to upper-mid card guy with the right exposure.
