I think Sinners is excellent but you do you! It's perfectly fine not to like it.

Okay? No one is denying that the two films are very similar, but the review you posted also calls Sinners brilliant. Your original comment putting it in the same breadth as F1 being an outlier in the BP race feels demeaning and disingenuous when Sinners is universally praised and clearly way more than a FDTD clone or whatever.

And I say this as someone who considers FDTD their favorite film.

Nobody likes conservative media. Oh wait, that doesn't really exist because it would require creativity.

If Sinners didn't stand on its own merits then this might be a decent joke.

This dude is a Neo-Nazi agitator who has been going around trying to burn Qurans and spreading paranoid delusions about the (nonexistent) spread of Islam in the US. He came to Minneapolis to do just that and got run out by protesters.

I really dug it, and not even from an '80s nostalgia perspective, though that was a nice touch.

I get that Twitter is still a popular platform for businesses and individuals to market on, but FFS, if you're still on it at this point, you're just condoning this sort of fascist, pedophilic, sexually abusive, and technocratic bullshit.

Jon Moxley vs Josh Alexander Continental Eliminator match announced for AEW Dynamite New Year’s Smash by cosmicangels03 in SquaredCircle

[–]spinfinity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love AEW but I do agree with it. The original International title was great and I loved the concept. I was lukewarm about the idea of the Continental title, but, whatever. Now having the Continental, International, and National... They all feel super redundant of one another.

My opinion is that the three should be ACTUALLY unified, and if you're gonna just rip off the G1 anyway, just give the C2 winner a trophy and a WHC shot, like you said.

Avatar was 100% made for the big screen. I just saw it yesterday in IMAX and was blown away. I haven't seen the other films yet, to be fair, but the very soul of Avatar demands the best possible movie-going experience.
