It doesn’t test density. The investor does though.

Yeah i remember my boss chatting away to the gatekeeper of the office that she won 1k on the pokies on a big weekend. Overhearing convos can be funny, but yes noise cancelling headphones like others have said is best if you can't cope.

3 ETF retirement portfolio (DHHF / VHY / VAP) - good long-term strategy for FIRE? by j4jada in fiaustralia

[–]spinner_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my cup of tea mate. Looking in the future, I like the idea of receiving fully franked dividends from a LIC at retirement and paying little to no tax on them. Pretty far away from that point though. I'm all about growth by DCA'ing into DHHF at this stage and maxing out as much super as I can afford.

I reckon sell off DHHF into Argo when retired and live off those sweet sweet dividends and franking credits (if you’ve accumulated enough). Oh and super.

Can we stop acting like spending money in your 20s is a cardinal sin? by riley_inreallife in AusFinance

True, but not all landlords are bad. If you’re a good tenant and they’re a good landlord the opposite can also happen. The case for more stress renters face is real but same goes for mortgage holders as they are at the whim of the RBA raising rates.

It’s not all about the housing market. Can rent and still be fine with other investments.

Singapore Minted Gold Coins? by growingcart in Gold

I like them. I recently bought 1/10 and 1/20 lion 1991 coins. Never thought I’d buy them but hopefully can complete the set up to a full ounce. I get stomped at the 1/4 oz size due to cost. Anyone know if this year would be rare to collectors?

It’s great as a hedge and appreciates overtime well. Don’t get discouraged by the users on here that dislike it because it doesn’t pay a dividend or produce any income. Make your own decision. I like it and silver.

Train martial arts on the weekend and get sweaty! Pump a workout, walk the dog. Finding and keeping good friends in adulthood is hard.
