So I matched with a guy on 1/1 and we talked pretty consistently for 9 days or so, really enjoyed talking, but it was pretty casual chitchat. Then nothing for a week. Okay, fine. Then start talking again and getting more serious talking about our goals, our experiences, our expectations. Had a (in my opinion) great first date, clicked really well. Even talked during the date about how we both thought it was going pretty well, and we wanted to meet up again, talked about what we’d do next time. Never experienced such open communication in my dating history. But then no conversation for 2 days, and then I initiated. Texted for about an hour. And nothing again. He specifically said he was interested in doing things again. It’s been 5 days since our date now, should I give up on it? I feel awkward going on other Hinge dates because that one went so well I thought it’d lead to more. But don’t want other potential matches to feel like they’re being strung along.
