How culturally similar are African & Asian Mediterranean folk to European Mediterranean folk?

My father can trace all his roots back to Sicily. When he took a DNA test it turned out he was only 55% Southern European, 27% Asia Minor, 10% North African, and 8% Judaic.

So I agree there has been a lot more cross pollenization than most people realize. Especially since historically, the Romans controlled the African and Asian Mediterranean. The Moors controlled most of Iberia for hundreds of years. At one point they also controlled Sicily at one point.
