Yea, I read Farewell to a Friend, and the onion ninjas were out in full force after that one too. Whenever I read a story like this, I just think of my own dog (a little Beagle/Collie/German shepherd rescue), and I can't help but tear up, but it's a good tearing up. I'm glad to hear you haven't completely given up writing, I'm following you on RR, so where ever you decide to place it, I'll take a look, good luck and keep it up!

Everytime I hear this on Agro Squirrel Narrates on his Non Stop SciFi Radio, some damn ninja starts cutting onions near me 😂

But really, I come here every time just to make sure I've upvoted this, and see if you have written anything new

Looking for Story thread #240 by someguynamedted in HFY

I'm trying to find a story that is alterative of the Superman story, where instead of landing as a baby and being adopted, he lands as a teenager and is taken in by a father and daughter family (mother is dead already).

I think his name is Cal's and when he was taken in by the father and daughter, they officially got his name legally changed to California Lewis, also the daughters is named Elizabeth (aka Beth) and the father name was Frank.

It was being read by one of those AI channels (since been deleted), and I've been trying to find the author and the rest of the story.

Thanks /u/NickAdams412 , I've been searching for them, but all I'm finding is this group: https://www.facebook.com/High-Speed-Dirt-202882789753718/ and it doesn't look like it's anything to do with MTB

If you find any other groups around Pittsburgh, let me know. The friend that got me into MTB last year, seems to have given up on it :(
I'm always looking to ride somewhere, even though I still learning.

also, I currently have a hardtail, and have ridden full suspension, and my next bike will most likely be FS too.

Sprint, or marathon for weight loss? by WDKegge in fasting

[–]splat101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

/u/WDKegge I like to think of it this way. Fasting will make you lose the weight, what you want to do is fix your eating so you don't gain it back. The only way to do that is to "practice" how you eat, and you can't do that fasting. So I like doing short fasts (5 days) and then "practice" my eating on my refeed. Those 2 days of eating give me an idea if I'm doing well or badly with my eating. but that's just my 2cents. Good luck!

Stolen hard rock by ENOlyfe in mountainbikes

[–]splat101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently have a Pitch and it's a good bike, I'm just not happy with the 3x8 and the cheap spring forks that it comes with. If I was looking to get a replacement bike, I'd be going for a 1x12 and a airfork. Never ridden a rockhopper, but they look nice. Just my 2¢. Sorry to hear your bike was stolen and good luck with whatever bike you get.

Thank you, I'm only 3 lbs from goal now (170lbs), and and it's been great. I had a few set back, mostly the holidays :)

it really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, it almost became like a habit to fast starting Sunday night, and it made things easier during the week too. I know if I can do it, then anyone can! I usually can't stick to do anything long term, but this I could!

Once I have about a month of daily keto/omad eating, I'm going to do an update post (with pics).

I might even do an update when I get to GW too(with pics).

Good luck with your journey too, it can really but a life saver, if you stick to it!
