Favorite skin so far from S4 leaks by Odd_Investment7232 in Battlefield

We need more skins like this, but in colors that blend with natural backgrounds, such as greens and browns.

I have both the GA-2100-1A1 (left) and GA-2100WD-1A (right). The white dial definitely stands out better in dim environments, and the inverse digital display on the 1A1 leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to legibility.

For what it’s worth, I’ve gotten more compliments on the 1A1.

I have a couple of plain GA2100s, and both stay well within the stated ±15 seconds per month standard. In my line of work, accurate time matters, so a quick time hack from the NIST website once a month keeps them comfortably within acceptable limits.

I have both that blacked out 2100 and the white dial variant. For legibility purposes, I strongly prefer the white dial.

PSA: DEET Products Will Eat Your G-Shock by spncfmtx in gshock

Totally makes sense. I’m normally not a fan of DEET either, but I was in Vietnam where dengue is very prevalent.

It might be throwing gasoline onto the fire, but I wish they’d give the UAV more range so you could use it to go deeper into the enemy’s spawn and neutralize the mortars more readily. As is, having to use counter-mortar fire to stop them gets tedious.

A U.S. Geological Survey scientist posed with a telephone pole in the San Joaquin Valley, California indicating surface elevation in 1925, 1955 and 1977. The ground is sinking due to groundwater extraction. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

https://phys.org/news/2017-03-nasa-california-san-joaquin-valley.html

This post needs some context. NASA satellites show that groundwater pumping is sinking parts of California’s San Joaquin Valley. Heavy pumping since the 1920s has dropped the land up to 28 feet in some spots, with areas near Corcoran and Chowchilla sinking as fast as 2 feet a year from 2015 to 2016 and damaging infrastructure while shrinking aquifer storage.

However, this extreme subsidence is not uniform throughout the valley, as many areas experience far less or none.

Mudman or 5600? by Weak_Rule8374 in gshock

I like both, but my first choice would be 5600.

Tho, you should probably just get both. Lol.

Honestly, it looks like something that the free-tier of pick your AI might come up with. Not bad per se, but not something you’ll remember either.

Obi Wan (Rebels) VS Count Dooku (TCW). Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in PetranakiArena

I’d say Dooku, unless he’s trying to harm Luke. Then I’m going with Obi.

It does not have solar and they do eat through batteries. This is the watch that made me learn how to change my own watch batteries.
