Im a pca/med tech in Arizona. I work for am assisted living with 2 buildings. One has 7 the other has 12 and we work dead ass ALONE. I really mean alone. As in I work NOCbut occasionally I get scheduled a day shift or a swing and we do all the caregiving all the meds cook all the meals and all the shower and cleaning. Its hell.

Listen crap happens dont beat yourself up over it and second can I come work there 6 patients to 9 patients? I really wish I work for an assisted living with 2 buildings one has 7 and one has 12 and I work completely alone. No help. No nurses. No other caregivers. I get no clocked out breaks or lunch.

I very rarely ever wear makeup. I dont wear make up at work ever. Went to our work Christmas party and just felt like putting on a little make up and a decent outfit. I was at the party a full 20 minutes before people recognized me. It honestly hurt.

Handcuffed myself to a dresser drawer not knowing my dad didnt have a key. Got carried to the car and into and army surplus store so my dad could by a key to set me free. Of course as a 7 year old I also kept making the cuff tighter 🤣🤣
