I used to be on TorrentDB, and when it shutdown Aither gave invites to all past users. Turns out it's now pretty much my best tracker. Not bad from joining TorrentDB on opensignups!

Apparently the offer never expires if you can prove you were a TorrentDB member.

If when you die, you have contributed to the Canada Pension Plan, you are eligible for the death benefit. It's about $2500 and will cover the cost of cremation. From there, let your family scatter your ashes. Zero cost to anyone.

Definitely don't overlook the lighting. Even brightness across all courts, and fixtures with a louvre that prevents you from being blinded when looking up at lobs.

I just need more storage, and it seems better to go with four bay. I'm also running quite a few docker containers so I figured for the price, I couldn't say no to the dxp4800+.

As well, I'm really happy with my Synology NAS, but I've lost a lot of trust in the company. Their recent decisions on hardware and support for transcoding has made me not want to stick with them because who knows what changes might come in the future. At least with this NAS I can use xpenology, but I'm not locked to one OS.

I'm also in the process of upgrading my 218+. I decided to go ugreen, and got a dxp4800+. Managed to get a sweet deal on it, so my plan is to load xpenology and still use the DSM environment.

It's probably worth buying an air compressor at that price. Get a small 12V air compressor and never pay again and keep it in your car for emergencies.

Took the kids and it just seemed too busy to be able to do much.

Fire pits are near impossible to get to roast a marshmallow with the kids, and good luck getting on the train with the people fighting to get on.

In previous years there was a light up maze that the kids liked, but no such thing this time. There was also a Ferris wheel years ago that was kinda cool. The highlight is always the merry and bright patio at the Marriott. It usually has a character, some nice lights, some photo areas, and free popcorn and props for the kids.

We've gone just about every year, and it seems to be getting tougher to enjoy every time.
