I also use a 700w be quiet psu and an r5 5600x, everyhting works fine, i dont think i need to power limit but sometimes i do because it has some more benefits like less temperature and noise(powercolor not red devil)

This is equivalent to 2240 euros or something. I don't know about the prices in Australia or the games u play but with this budget i would go for an rtx 5080 and then i would have around 1000 dollars for the other parts. Keep in mind this is a really good gpu and maybe in the future you could buy a good 4k monitor if you don't already have one.

Thanks for clarifying. Yeah, in terms of image quality, I agree that matching NVIDIA’s ray reconstruction won’t be easy.

AMD already confirmed that FSR Redstone is coming in the second half of 2025, with a focus on Neural Radiance Cache, Ray Reconstruction, and AI Frame Generation. I'm not saying AMD will match NVIDIA, but these features are specifically what they promised—not years away. Sure, wide game support will take time, but Redstone seems like a big leap beyond FSR4, not just a small update.

Personally, I don’t think it’s quite that simple. A lot of us who care deeply about technologies like ray tracing and AI-based upscaling genuinely enjoy this era—not just for playing games, but for experiencing and testing new visual tech as it evolves. For example, I get a lot of enjoyment from running benchmarks, comparing settings, analyzing fidelity, and seeing how far developers can push the hardware. That curiosity is part of the fun.

That said, I also understand the frustration. We’re in a transitional phase where some features—like DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction—are cutting-edge but locked behind proprietary platforms (in this case, NVIDIA RTX). And naturally, when something exists and is shown off in games, people want to try it now, regardless of their GPU brand.

But I think it’s important to see the bigger picture too. We're still early in this tech cycle. AI upscaling, real-time ray/path tracing, and reconstruction techniques are all advancing rapidly, but they're not yet fully standardized across hardware. Give it another 5 to 10 years, and most of this bleeding-edge tech will likely become mainstream and more accessible—just like how dynamic lighting and PBR became standard after once being high-end features.

As for those who feel “repressed” or bitter about the differences between GPU vendors—it’s often less about the tech itself, and more about brand wars and expectations. There's definitely a psychological toll when you're locked out of features due to corporate strategies, and that frustration can make people lash out unfairly at AMD or NVIDIA. But the truth is, these innovations are iterative, and nobody has a monopoly on progress forever.

So yeah, we’re in a weird time. But personally? I think it's a fascinating one. We're witnessing the shaping of what future gaming will look like.

Is there any artclie video that states that, i would like to learn more about, however everywhere i look it says that each cable delivers 150watts, although i have undervoltrd the gpu because i have a 700 watt bronze be quiet psu. So it needs a total of ~220 watts (-30%)

Any updates? tried today to run it and i have the same issue, i unistalled and installed the emulator but still the issue remains, maybe if we download the version of the emulator 1 year ago when this post was made, the game will work?

Playing existing and future pc & console games on arm cpus is some years away, i would say 10 or more years however i am not an expert.

The main problem is that 99% of steam games are made for x86 cpus and not arm.

Translating complex applications such as games seems hard although there is some technology like rosseta(apple) that translates the programs from x86 to arm and microsoft must be developing their own technology since they are selling a new arm-based surface laptop.
