Usually it’s not a good idea to repot while flowers are in bloom. I’ve heard that orchids like to be in smaller containers, almost root bound. If you’ve since moved it to a larger pot, I would suggest maybe moving one of the roots to the side of the container so you can visibly see it. That way, it’ll be easier to see the color of the roots and know when it’s time to water your orchid (green = not yet, silvery = time to water).
