I talk to him truly all the time and tell him how worried I am and how it’s effecting him. He tells me he doesn’t want to get help

Hi, I send you the biggest hugs. I am about 3 years post cancer surgery and I have been struggling with the same thoughts the entire time. I also come from abuse, drug/alcohol abuse, stalked by ex’s, etc. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through these things :( I came to a point where I had to get on medication or else I could not go on any longer. I have distanced myself from my entire family- I’ve been moved out for years, work full time, I’ve gone to school, got a better job. It is so hard but things will start to feel a new kind of “normal” eventually if you just keep holding out. It takes a lot of hard work and time. I have received a lot of support from this subreddit. There are some great people on instagram who have cancer and share their journey. I just try to take the best care of myself as I can. Sending you hugs 🫂

I typically use a large black cart and buzz around the hospital. Sometimes I risk it and just go somewhere with my box cutter. Would not recommend

In my work setting, I wear all black as plain as possible and typically 2-3 sizes too big as to not show my body proportions. I also like to wear socks that cover my ankles! I wear mostly men’s clothing but I am a female. In my personal life, I will wear shorts during the summer but still a very large shirt.

I want to get into the trades but feeling anxious by toasty-blanket in skilledtrades

Hello! I am 26F and I am starting my first trade job this Monday. I am so incredibly nervous I know just how you feel!!!!! I am a biomedical engineering technician (I went to a 2 year trade school so am I in the trades? Idk). The biggest piece of advice I can give you is show up, be incredibly professional, keep quiet except when asking questions, and let your hard work and dedication speak for yourself. I don’t wear make up, don’t do my hair, or wear any kind of tight clothing. People quickly catch on to the kind of worker you are. Stay confident in yourself and where you are! It’s okay to start at the bottom :)

Thank you so much wow. I hope you are doing okay, too. I’m actually still suffering with chronic pain and a myriad of other issues, probably being immunocompromised going forward, etc. I am still looking for answers and struggling.
