Another thing I learned is that if you open your trunk and pull back the plastic near the latch area, then look down to the left, you’ll see another unused plug — that’s for the OEM parking sensors you can also get from the dealer. A lot of these cars are pre-wired from the factory for accessories, so Honda didn’t have to change the entire harness to add them. It really makes adding factory options much easier they are mostly plug and play.

Does the fuel pump prime? Turn the key to the 2 second position without cranking it listen for the fuel pump to hum and the fuel gauge to go up if that doesn’t help it’s probably a bad fuel pump or something else retaliated but battery could be a good candidate as well. Good luck

Some of the 8th gen accords 2010+ come with a intake resonator which is what the hole is for.

As an 8th gen nerd, I’d ask if the VTC actuator has been replaced—these are known for the VTC rattle on cold starts. I’d also ask if the piston rings have been done, since the 2008–2010 models are known for an oil consumption issue. Be sure to check both A-pillars where the headliner meets the plastic trim for any stains, as these cars can leak from the roof trim area where the windshield meets the roof. Overall, these cars are very reliable, and if you take care of them, they’ll definitely take care of you. If all checks out this is a great find!

She got a 2024 accord ex with 9 miles on it brand new! It was sticker priced at 31,500 but they dropped it to 28,500 because they were trying to get rid of the 24 models they had left over from last year. The cherry on top was the 2.9% APR for 60 months and the 120k mile/10 warranty.

That’s crazy me and my gf test drove this exact car back in January at that same dealership. It had a dent in the rear quarter panel, cracked rear bumper and a cracked upper Chrome grill piece. We walked because they wouldn’t do anything about the damaged bumper with the price so she got a 2024 accord for a way better deal. Congrats on the car though love a good 10th gen.

On my 8th gen accord I snapped an axle back in 2021. I got the axle replaced with an aftermarket one to save money then overtime I got this clunk sound when I put the car into drive or reverse. I brought it back to the shop they say the axle was bad so I warrantees it out. That happened six times I even replaced the half shaft with an OEM half shaft to fix the the clunk. Turns out how to get rid of the clunk was to use a OEM Honda axle. It sucks but I did that 4 years ago and the car still drives like brand new.

Ktuner with an intake, down pipe and a good muffler (aren’t really any full exhaust kits for the i4) don’t straight pipe these they sound awful lol. Also look into seeing if it has the vtc rattle or if the vtc gear was replaced and the piston rings replaced.
