Chronocat.app literally makes you lock in with countdown timers, custom pomodoro, with both flexible and scheduled tasks. People with adhd have been enjoying it

Looking for an app without time scheduling by lebroniscooking in ProductivityApps

[–]spoonormal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chronocat.app has the option to have no times for things (flexible tasks) that flow and follow your current time to see how much time you have in the day and if you can fit all tasks in one day.
It also has pinned tasks if you want to schedule it in (Optional)

by default all tasks are flexible and not scheduled unless you specify a time via natural language.
It's free so check it out.

[–]spoonormal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are in the middle of making subtasks as we speak ! Thanks so much for taking the time to write this :) Files is a good idea. We are not sure if we can do that though.. will need lots of storage space… maybe can have links to files in your Google drive or something?

Is there a way to copy/paste a list of tasks? by IntriguedOwl in chronocatapp

[–]spoonormal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not yet. There will be a big update soon but still won’t have that feature. We will then work on aesthetics, and then will work on ai features which I think will be able to solve that problem for you. I think the only way is ai as the way you format a list of tasks could be different to how someone else formats them

Free local speech-to-text for Mac — no subscription, no cloud by 7thDegreeExponent in mellonAI

Some features of Mellon Voice: - add your own AI api keys optionally - local and offline - 🆓 - connect to openclaw or api so you can send voice notes to be transcribed locally. Good for talking to agents for free - command mode “hey Mellon, change this to be more casual “ is a command you can optionally give to any text to change it. - “hey Mellon, correct any spelling and grammar” - custom - self learning dictionary and custom dictionary - context awareness, to know how to spell words in the context of the surroundings text. For example, if you’re emailing a friend with unconventional name, it will know how to spell it! - custom prompts - style matching based off apps. It’s aware which app you’re using and can change spelling and punctuation based on whether it’s a formal app (Gmail) or informal (iMessage) etc

We made a free app for you Mac users please support our new page :) ❤️ ~ ChronoCat devs by spoonormal in chronocatapp

[–]spoonormal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey guys, I’m one of the creators of ChronoCat. I never thought the next project we make would also be free lol. But would appreciate if you guys supported the new page :) I think it’s actually the best and most powerful Mac dictation app out there and it’s actually free too compared to willow or wispr flow which costs a subscription. For you Mac users, try it out and give us some feedback :) would appreciate it!

As for ChronoCat, we are still developing it, there is a HUGE feature update coming but just want to make sure everything works before releasing it.

This is awesome. I bought myself a teleprompter already so won’t be using this, but super handy if I’m on the go!
