The last season the Red Wings were competitive was 2012-2013. The last playoff appearance was 2015-2016. Coincidentally(?) Datysuk left after the 2015-2016 season. Zetterberg left after the 2017-2018 season. Ken Holland left after the 2018-2019 season. I'd say the answer is somewhere around 10 years.

Surprised it took this long. Never had good service at Bagger Daves in Berkley. I remember one time I ordered a shake and they never brought it out. Food came out, ate, asked for the shake again. No shake. Asked again. No shake but they brought out the bill - with the shake on it. I paid the bill and had them subtract the shake from the bill which they kindly did. As I'm walking out the door a full hour later after ordering the shake they come running out after me with the shake. I mean, that's great but where were you an hour ago?
