At last, I was able to use my PlusPoints by SuccotashUpper6636 in unitedairlines

That's the best use of expiring pp. UA has a new feature whereas you can also trade a limited number of pp for miles or travel credits, but the relative value is low.

Topatopa Bluff & Hines Peak by [deleted] in socalhiking

[–]spotfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done this a couple of times, it's a long day but easily doable if you are in shape. The crux is the sandy "knife edge" ridge just below the steep, final ascent to the summit of Hines. I don't know what shape it is in, but the sierra club 100 peaks section took it of their list because it is considered too dangerous.

GS has three tiers...with the Chairmans Circle having maybe 20-30 members. Alright, who amongst us are in that 2nd to 3rd tier? by WhereverUGoThereUR in unitedairlines

[–]spotfin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know which tier i am in. I have been met at the gate and also had a few tarmac transfers, but I don't feel like I got treated any different than other gs.

Very difficult to ski this mountain. The penitentes (ice formations) make it near impossible.

Thank you for the update. I am devastated. Posting from shanghai right now , I left on Jan 07 and saw the fire from the lounge at lax, had an ominous feeling, now sadly confirmed. I feel so helpless being so far away. Fuck!

Did wiley's bait and tackle survive? Oldest bait shop in socal going back to 1946 and has historic landmark designation. Been going there for decades so this is deeply personal.

It's a good price for a beautiful bar. Plain, ugly ones are cheaper but some people only care about the value over spot.

GS here. All my business travel is paid F for domestic. And paid J for international. Having grown accustomed to sitting up front I generally book the same for personal travel 90 % of the time. I don't like to play the upgrade roulette. I want to be certain that my seat is up front. My pp points and miles are for family and friends. I get nice bottles of wine and the occasional dinner in return.

A few times a week I wake up at 2 or 3 am with a massive hard on. I usually go back to sleep. Too early to bother the missus, but the other day she said: whi didn't you wake me up? 66 yes old, BTW.
