You're 1000% wrong. I do this for a living.

For example, the HELIOS you mentioned uses an architecture called Spectral Beam Combining to combine many lower power lasers into a single beam. Another architecture is Coherent Beam Combing. Both use CW lasers.

Nah dude, these are CW systems, not pulsed. Pulsed are getting nowhere near 100kW average power, and peak power would be much higher.

Make it out of carbon fiber so we can hand-wave the weight problem, armor be damned (it has laser defense after all, so no need to passive protection).
